The Ski Slope Galleries

The Ski Slope - Saturday 25th April 2009 - 2nd Runs : A Premier Division event on The Ski Slope section of the River Tryweryn near Bala in North Wales. These images were all taken by Love Mae below Miss Davies's Bridge in constantly changing light conditions. Worse still, most of them were taken using a non-pro lens because I had taken our pro workhorse lens for trying out high definition videoing. However, she did a great job despite this as you can see and some of the light changes actually produced some great shots. If you want ask any of these images I will look more closely at the quality and do some more tuning to adjust for the lighting conditions at the time to improve them. She only captured images from the 2nd runs at this event but we have also created another gallery from close up extracts of these images so please check out that gallery too! Oh! And some images may be out of sequence, apologies, just search through them all :-) We can send you a CD for a small donation of £8 “per competitor (or boat for C2 pairs), per competition" and this will contain all images we have of that competitor or boat as indicated by you. These images were all taken by Love Mae below Miss Davies's Bridge in constantly changing light conditions. The Ski Slope - Sunday 26th April 2009 - 2nd Runs : A Division 1 event on The Ski Slope section of the River Tryweryn near Bala in North Wales. These images were all taken by Love Mae with our new Canon 5D MkII body in conjuction with a 70-200 f2.8L USM IS lens. This combination gives us the chance to shoot with very fast shutter speeds, no flash even without sunlight under the tree canopies, and still have enough light entering the camera to catch every detail.
